Elise Hernandez

Elise is an Associate at MSquared, where she supports the company’s investment management business, including portfolio and asset management initiatives.

Prior to joining MSquared, Elise was an Assistant Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate group at U.S. Bank, where she directed the underwriting and structuring of complex financings across industrial, multifamily, retail, and life science assets nationwide. Her work spanned construction and development lending, supporting over $500 million in annual originations. She also managed a portfolio of more than $2.5 billion in real estate debt, conducting credit risk analysis at the asset, borrower, and sponsor levels across diverse CRE asset classes. Elise began her career at U.S. Bank as a Credit Analyst, where she built expertise in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and transaction execution.

Elise holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and Price School of Public Policy. She is committed to mentorship and professional development, most recently through her service as a board member of U.S. Bank’s Women’s Business Resource Group.
