Marissa is a Director at MSquared, where she supports the Company’s real estate development and investment businesses.

 

She brings over 10 years of experience in real estate transactions, spanning market-rate and commercial properties as well as affordable housing and public housing.

 

Prior to joining MSquared, Marissa served as Vice President of Transactions in the Real Estate Development Department at the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). During her tenure, NYCHA secured over $5.8 billion in financing for the comprehensive rehabilitation of nearly 18,000 units of public housing through the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program, New York City’s implementation of the federal Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program.

 

Prior to NYCHA, Marissa was an associate in the real estate department at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where she represented owners, developers, landlords and tenants, as well as New York governmental and cultural institutions, in connection with real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, air rights transfers, and financings.

 

Marissa received a B.A. in Political Science, Public Policy and Mathematics from Swarthmore College, graduating with High Honors, and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlem Fiske Stone Scholar.
